Ila was born and raised in Kazakhstan. Before becoming a dance teacher and choreographer, she embarked on her career as a freestyle dancer in 2009, competing in hip-hop dance battles in Kazakhstan and internationally. As her popularity surged in her city, many people sought to take dance classes from her.
She frequently traveled to participate in dance competitions and camps, learning from dance Legends such as Buddha Stretch, a dancer and choreographer for Michael Jackson; Danielle Polanco, renowned for her work with celebrities like Beyoncé, J.Lo, Omarion etc; Popin' Pete, a pioneering figure in the popping genre whose influence extends to Michael Jackson’s "Thriller" and "Beat It," as well as collaborations with Chris Brown; Les Twins, who have been collaborating with Beyoncé since 2011; and other celebrated Artists like Bruce Ykanji, Niako LegionX, Marthe Vangeel, Rafa Redvolcon, Aliya Janell, and Cisco Rules.
In 2019 Ila established her own dance studio in her city and successfully managed it for three years before relocating to the United Kingdom in 2023. Through her studio, she empowered over a hundred girls and women, imparting insights that helped them build a strong foundation. In addition to nurturing her dance team, and providing space for other dance teachers to grow and create, she was invited to conduct workshops in various dance studios and crafted showcases that claimed 1st places in Kazakhstan arenas. Furthermore, she is a member of kazdancesport.kz, affiliated with the International Dance Organization (IDO) and the World Art & Dance Alliance (WADA). Currently, Ila is dedicated to building her team here in UK and providing training across all ages, genres, and skill levels. It's worth mentioning that she remains committed to enhancing her skills, drawing inspiration from renowned dance Artists worldwide.
